Recently, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security announced to the society that research travel instructors and home stay housekeepers are to be included in the new edition of the National Occupational Classification Ceremony, marking the birth of two new national occupations in the fields of culture and tourism.
The reporter learned that the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has actively promoted the establishment of research travel instructors as a new profession. Since 2021, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has organized relevant experts to conduct in-depth research on the development of research travel, analyze the technical skills and professional quality requirements of core posts, and cooperate with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security to conduct argumentation and defense. Research travel refers to the tutor becoming a new occupation, which fully reflects the market scale and talent demand of research tourism and the general confidence of the whole society in the development prospect of this field.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security issued the Announcement on Publicizing the Occupational Information of Robotic Engineering Technicians and Other Professions to be Published, which explained the definitions and main tasks of 18 new occupations. Among them, research travel instructors refer to those who plan, formulate and implement research travel plans, organize and guide research experience activities. Their main tasks include collecting information about research audience needs and research resources, developing research activity projects, preparing research activity plans and implementation plans, interpreting research activity plans, and organizing, coordinating and guiding the development of research activity projects. Home stay housekeeper refers to the person who provides customized services such as customer accommodation, catering and local natural environment, culture and lifestyle experience. Its main tasks include planning local natural and cultural environment, leisure, entertainment and lifestyle experience activities, and promoting and selling home stay service projects; Accept reservations, communicate with customers, understand personalized service needs, plan and formulate service projects and programs; Introduce the home stay service items and facilities, coordinate and guide the staff to provide reception, accommodation, catering, activities and other service items; Analyze the purchase and loss of materials in the operation of home stay, sort out and analyze the operation data of home stay, and control the operation and maintenance costs; Sort and record customer information, consumption projects and habits, collect and analyze customer experience feedback, and maintain customer relations; Formulate emergency plans for home stay and service projects, inspect and maintain safety facilities and equipment, and organize the implementation of emergency rescue.
It is understood that the new occupational information will be formally included in the new edition of the National Occupational Classification Canon after being publicized for comments, revised and improved. The evaluation institution will issue certificates to the qualified personnel according to relevant regulations. The information of certified personnel will be included in the scope of talent statistics, and they will enjoy vocational training subsidies, vocational skill appraisal subsidies and other policies as required.
