Zhangjiakou Geological Museum

Zhangjiakou Geological Museum is a popular science education base for the public. Base introduction:

Zhangjiakou Geological Museum is a special museum mainly serving the public. It mainly displays and popularizes the natural science knowledge with geological science as the core. It is the collection, display and research center of rare paleontology and geological mineral specimens, the science popularization and patriotism education base for young people, and the window for Zhangjiakou regional resources and environment publicity and exchange.

Memorial Hall of Martyr Dong Cunrui of Huailai County

Dong Cunrui Memorial Hall in Huailai County is located in Nanshanbao Village, Cunrui Township, Huailai County, Zhangjiakou City, the hometown of heroes. It was built in August 1967, expanded in 2006, and opened to the public in May 2008. The memorial hall fully highlights the directionality, practicality and characteristics of the times of patriotism education, takes building a brand of Cunrui spirit and culture as its own responsibility, and strives to build a spiritual highland of youth patriotism education and ideological and moral construction. It has been successively named as Hebei Patriotism Education Base, Hebei Integrity Education Base, Hebei National Defense Education Base, Hebei Communist Party History Education Base, PLA 65659 Army Soul Education Base, Rocket Army Ideal and Belief Education Base, Army 81st Group Army Inheritance Red Gene Education Base, Zhangjiakou Patriotism Education Base, Zhangjiakou Social Science Popularization Base Zhangjiakou Moral Education Base for Primary and Middle School Students, Zhangjiakou Research and Practice Education Base for Primary and Middle School Students, and the National 3A Tourist Attraction are multi-functional venues integrating patriotism education, national defense education, and integrity education.

Xuanhua Guoyu Ceramic Culture Park

Xuanhua District Guoyu Ceramic Culture Park, inheriting the 1600 year ceramic culture of Xuanhua's "basin kiln", is the most professional ceramic culture exhibition hall in western Beijing. The Ceramic Art Museum covers an area of more than 4000 square meters, integrating a ceramic museum, a ceramic living museum, a ceramic art experience bar, a ceramic original museum, and a multi-function hall. In the form of exhibitions and interactive platforms, it enables the audience to have a more intuitive understanding of the development history of ceramic culture and zero distance contact with ceramic production technology, so as to popularize ceramic knowledge and enthusiastically inherit ceramic culture. Every year, nearly 50000 primary and middle school students in Zhangjiakou and Xuanhua are popularized with traditional ceramic culture and knowledge. It has become a research destination for many schools in Beijing and Inner Mongolia, and a cooperative unit for the cultural construction of many local enterprises and institutions. In the next three years, the park plans to build a factory sightseeing experience line of nearly 5000 square meters on the existing basis, so that more people can enter the factory and ceramics, More intuitive understanding of the entire ceramic production process, so that the public can personally feel the ceramic production process under the premise of ensuring safety, and more efforts to promote the popularization of traditional ceramic culture and knowledge.
